Usermanual Dentemp Emergency Filling
Lost or broken filling
- Wash your hands thoroughly;
- Rinse the cavity containing the filling thoroughly with warm water, leaving the cavity moist;
- Use the applicator provided to take a small amount of Dentemp Emergency Filling from the bottle and place it on your fingers;
- Use your fingers to make a ball out of the Dentemp Emergency Filling and place the ball in the cavity;
- Press the ball firmly and keep your finger on the cavity for about 3 minutes;
- Then bite your teeth firmly together a few times;
- Remove excess Dentemp from fingers and around cavity;
- Rinse mouth well with water.
Please note: try not to eat or drink anything for the first two hours after placing Dentemp so that the material can work properly.
Replace a cap
- Try to remove as much old cement as possible from the inside of the cap and clean the inside;
- Rinse the mouth thoroughly with warm water and keep the cavity moist;
- Note: first try whether the cap can be placed back on the tooth. If this is not possible or does not fit, consult a dentist as soon as possible;
- Use the attached applicator to take a small amount of Dentemp Emergency Filling from the bottle;
- Then apply a little Dentemp along the inner edge of the open end of the cap (not in the centre);
- Place the cap on the wet tooth and press firmly for 3 minutes;
- Bite down on the teeth several times to make sure the cap is secure;
- If the cap is uncomfortable, remove it and repeat the steps until the cap feels comfortable in the mouth;
- Finally, remove the excess material and rinse the mouth thoroughly with warm water.
Please note: try not to eat or drink anything for the first two hours after placing Dentemp so that the material can work properly.

- Do not use Dentemp if the cavity is swollen or painful: this may indicate an infection;
- For implants, consult a dentist before using Dentemp;
- Dentemp Emergency Filling is not suitable to repair broken teeth or dentures, use Dentemp Repair-it;
- The dentist can easily remove Dentemp;
